Johannesburg Metro Chess (JMC) is the regional body responsible for the control and administration of chess in the Johannesburg Metropole under the auspices of Chess South Africa.
JMC also hosts periodic tournaments and co-ordinates team selection for regional tournaments.
We will be publishing the chess tournament calendar for the JMC region for 2024 soon. Watch this space!
South African Chess Ratings are co-ordinated by Chess South Africa. These can be obtained directly from the Chessa Website.
