Where chess happens

About Us

Johannesburg Metro Chess is the region that represents chess players in the Johannesburg area as part of the Gauteng Province Chess. Created in 2013 through the merging of multiple smaller unions within Johannesburg. We strive to enhance the reach of chess within Johannesburg and to enable all to participate in chess at school, regional and national levels.

Chess is our passion!
